The Salmon Annual - 2007
Work has started on the third Salmon Annual and we are ready to take subscription
renewals and new orders. The book should be ready for publication by January.
In the next edition the main topic of the fishery focus will be on the River Spey
and two beats will be given the pool-by-pool treatment. With much going on behind
the scenes in Ireland to get rid of the in-shore drift-nets, we will be doing
another fishery focus on a location on the west coast. There will also be the
usual season reviews from the more important and interesting waters from around
the North Atlantic, including an account of the season at the Kharlovka and
Litza. More content information will be added as the publication takes shape.
Subscribers receive the
regular email updates containing news of any interesting fishing opportunities that come to my attention. Any contact information changes will be given in
these updates from now on, instead of in the Annual. I hope the information in
the updates is of use to you, and should any of you have a rod or week you would
like circulated (or if you're looking for fishing), please send me the details
and I'll be happy to include it.
(Please note, the email update service is for SUBSCRIBERS ONLY.)
If you're a paid subscriber but not on the list, please send an email with the
subject "Add to Annual Update" and simply put your name and address in the body
of the message.
Emphasis is on text, but features and some reviews are illustrated with b & w
photos. Page size 170 x 238 mm. Perfect bound in soft cover.
